Hi! I photograph art models primarily in Charleston, South Carolina. I also travel to various other locations around the United States to conduct modeling shoots.
I'm Charleston, South Carolina, photographer Aaron Knight. With 15+ years of experience with hundreds of models, I strive to create a working process that is comfortable, productive, and creative. I have a bachelor’s degree in art (B.A. from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado) and an MBA from the Citadel here in Charleston. In art school, I learned how to use camera angles, lighting, and editing to transform my subjects into artist compositions.
Many of the models are not professionals or full-time. I've hired experienced freelance models as well as women who are newer to modeling. I've also trained a couple of hundred brand new models. Some work with me to build their first modeling portfolio, while others are looking for an exciting new experience. Models are always paid when doing photo shoots for my studio and my artwork, regardless of experience. I don't ask models to pose for free.
