AARON KNIGHT STUDIO
Fine Art Photography modeling
Hello
I’m Aaron, a photographer based in Charleston, SC. I hire people and train them to model. I create art books and limited-edition collector prints, which are sold through art dealers.
Art
I have periodic openings for paid art models. Photo shoots last a few hours. Selected models receive non-judgmental coaching, including guided exercises to develop figure modeling skills.
Jobs
I hire both experienced and new models whose looks fit my art photography projects. A typical day of modeling starts with a couple of outfits to warm up. You’re paid at the end of each shoot.

My Aesthetic
My aesthetic celebrates classic feminine beauty, where women are unapologetic and display femininity with a positive spirit. Each photograph is the result of careful technical preparation, hours of trial and error, followed by rigorous editing. This is also one of those few jobs where having fun is required; you see spirit in the face of each model.

Want to model?
The hiring process is generally less than one week including an introductory phone call and a low-pressure interview. My goal is to be transparent and non-judgmental. Shoots begin with a fashion warm-up, concentrating on easing into things. Many women have told me that modeling with me has helped build their confidence.
I’m open to working with new people and offer competitive pay. The models I hire must be over the age of 18. Check out additional requirements on the application page.
Creating beautiful images
On this site I’ve compiled information to help you succeed in the modeling application process. Please explore my portfolio to get a better feel for the poses and themes I work with. Once you’ve done that, head over to the model application.
If you’ve already booked a shoot (or if you’re just curious), look through the model’s get ready guide to prepare for your figure modeling shoot.
You’re also welcome to follow and message me on Instagram (@aaronknightstudio) which is another great way to start the conversation.
